Main Street Fine Arts and Antiques Shop

Announcing Exciting Changes for
Kilmarnock Main Street Fine Art & Antiques
Now Represented by Bond & Bowery, a Global Online Marketplace for Antiques and Decorative Arts

2008 brings with it several noteworthy events for Main Street Fine Art & Antiques (MSFAAM). Starting April 17, 2008, MSFAAM will be a dealer on Bond & Bowery, a worldwide marketplace for antiques, fine furnishings and fine art. Bond & Bowery enables global visibility, where trade professionals, the design community, collectors and other discriminating buyers can browse and shop a collection of virtual showrooms representing some of the world’s finest dealers and galleries. Customers can go to the store’s website to see Main Street’s inventory. Every Thursday new listings will be posted.

April also brings with it new dealers to the store. Main Street Fine Art & Antiques would like to welcome Harry Davis and Maurice Beane. Davis ran Lulu Fulani, a high-end decorative arts and antiques shop in downtown Richmond. Maurice Beane of Maurice Beane Art & Design Studios is an accomplished artist, designer and antique dealer. He specializes in early to mid 20th century design and antiques with modernist sensibilities. For more information go to the Maurice Beane Art & Design Studio site.

Main Street Fine Art & Antiques is located in downtown Kilmarnock, on the historic Northern Neck of Virginia. The region is often referred to as ‘Manhattan in Mayberry” due to its large design community.  MSFAAM is a great example of this melting pot of designers and artists drawn to the Northern Neck for the lifestyle the area provides.

MSFAAM is owned and run by the mother-son team of Leigh and Lewis Trimble. MSFAAM strives to create an eclectic and exciting retail environment where the curio cabinet meets the Parisian flea market and fine art gallery all in one 8500 foot space.  In its 5 year existence, Main Street Antiques prides itself on fusing antiques, fine art and design. Whether an interior designer, an 18th century colonial enthusiast, or a visitor off the streets from Borrego Springs, California, there is something here for everyone.
